If this was a jab at my earlier question, I do realize RT charting is necessary, but it can be obtained from the platform charts as well as a 3rd party charting service. riaamaan

Medved QuoteTracker with IQ Feed is $20/mo for basic service. Each exchange requires their own delays. CBOT and CME are 10 min. If you want real time feeds, CME charges another $24/mo, while CBOT is free. I'm thinking I can deal with a 10 min delay if I'm looking for the s / r and...

I've had option market makers pull the same shenanigans with me before. I didn't have the expertise to play against them so I'd just cancel my order and walk. You, on the other hand, have much more expertise and I want you to go out there and win one for the Gipper. :) I'd love to hear how...

You're like Ty (Chevy Chase) in Caddy Shack that way. Don't really keep score and play in the zone. :D

    Which company is the best?

I recently looked into becoming an investment consultant and spoke with a couple of firms. I've also researched the internet web sites of several. I was thinking I could go in and manage money. Maybe you can, but the reality is that they want people who can find other people with money and...

I'm doing well sir. I didn't get scared during the trade because I believe the system works and I know some will lose. I did feel disappointed when I caught the very tip and immediately went down, but I didn't think it would happen a second time based on the action of the opening 10 min...

I did get filled at 84 and quickly saw 2 pts evaporate. However, the rules say we can try again and my observation has been that if the path of least resistance is followed, you should prevail. I doubled my order and went long at 84 the second time and got my 2. Any thoughts on the prudence...

Looks like a bear flag and another leg down coming. The quality of the rise as compared to the aggressive push down says be cautious. The money here IMHO is short on a break below 9.80 and target profits at 9.00. But always remember, anything can happen.

    How to raise money legally?

Good questions. The answers are important enough that you ought to actually seek an attorney's opinion before taking the idea to the next level. I've wondered about the same things myself.

Any advice on Colorado? Careers, economy?

It was beautiful here today. I've been here for 25 years now. Back then, Texans were definitely the recipients of venom. They ski out of control, tastelessly flaunt cash, etc. etc. Then the Cali's came and overshadowed the Texans. It's been a trade off. There is much more to do here...

I too have been gone through the same "emotional" phase in my trading. Revenge trades, bored trades, etc. I assessed that the reason for the high drama was due to my trading with "scared money". If I lost what little I had, I was out of the game. I love trading too much to let that happen so...

If you didnt make money today

Congratulations on your alleged success. I wouldn't think a truly secure and consistently successful trader would come to gloat on a forum and tell others if they didn't make a sh!t ton the last two days, they should be working Micky D's. I hold the mirror, what do you see? Do you see...

How do you determine what is "fairly" priced? Black-Scholes? My take might be to evaluate whether or not the anticipated move will exceed the straddle cost by 2 or 3 times before expiration. I'm curious as to what someone with your experience level uses. Save the answer for the new thread. :)

    Jesse Livermore

He had good rules and obviously enjoyed tremendous success. When he'd blow an account, it was often because he admittedly ignored his own rules. He apparently also suffered from clinical depression. A lot of people with depression in combination with making a bad mistake or having bad luck...
