    IB: is it really good???

Sounds interesting...:) but, why should you disclose the liquidity providers? Why shouldn't you? All other ECNs do check their sites. If you claim they are liquidity providers then why not expressly state so in legally binding document i.e terms and conditions. You don't know which part...

    IB: is it really good???

I just discovered something more, since the IB does not guarantee best price and they have statement providing: "Trades executed greater than 3% away from the Fair Market Value at the time of the execution will be considered for cancellation or price adjustment. Trades executed greater than...

Here is some more good points about Saxo. As I already said their platform is very unstable and being based on Java you could imagine for your self how it work. I am using notebook with Pentium IV with 3.02Ghz HT and 2 x 512 Ram. Even with that power my notebook crashed very often...

I can now see what you meant. It would certainly be better to trade in a fair market through honest broker. You right on a point that FX is not fair and honest at least at this moment for retail traders. In addition most of the FX brokers are placed in the countries where they use loop wholes...

    Stay away from SAXO

I agree on a point that IB does have an insurance policy that covers the clients, and I actually contacted the policy providers and they confirmed the extent of coverage. In addition I send some 6 emails to IB with various questions and got satisfactory reply to all of them. Usual reply was...

I think that is good way keeping an eye on your broker. I assume refco did not have any insurance to protect its clients. What about oanda do they have any insurance to cover clients if they go bust?

ZoneTrooper, I can only say that I did not do good enough due diligence. For that reason I cannot forgive myself. Unfortunately I can't turn back the time but will have to leave it behind me at some point and just take it as a valuable lesson.:( I am trying various forums to post my...

It is my experience that they will do everything to make you lose your money. They manipulate quotes, soon as u enter the trade the spreads are wider and they will say its liquidity, and soon as you close your position the liquidity is back to normal . But yet they claim they get liquidity...
