    Anyone using StarLink to trade?

Starlink is not intended for people with access to traditional broadband providers; it is for people without access in rural areas. I am guessing one of the reasons the price is slightly above what traditional providers offer is to discourage people with other options from signing up.

    Anyone using StarLink to trade?

I am currently using an AT&T reseller of cellular data (4G) and a backup with Verizon (4G). My problem with this setup is my latency often exceeds 150ms AND sometimes the upload is under 1mbps. There are no other options where I am now other than Hughesnet satellite. If things go my way in...

Who is going pay the electric bill in Texas? His Lights Stayed on During Texas’ Storm. Now He Owes $1

Seems like people didn't fully understand how "Griddy" worked. Maybe during normal times they saw there were savings on electric prices. Probably they didn't understand the "worst case scenario".

What music do you like to listen while trading?

I have a couple of "deep focus" and "relaxation" playlists on spotify. My rule is no vocals and nothing to get me excited. I want elevator music when I'm concentrating. I leave the motorhead type stuff for after hours.

Financial qualifications to trade naked options on IB

I'm sorry but if you have to ask that question maybe you ought to think about it? The only question you have to ask yourself is "Am I experienced enough with options to take the riskiest options position"?

    Spread trading newbie has questions.

I don't pay a lot round trip on commission so that doesn't bother me. As far as "double slippage" as I understand it the spread markets are even more liquid than the outrights (at least from the examples I've seen). From what I understand so far you will not get double slippage unless you try to...

    Spread trading newbie has questions.

I mentioned Guy Bower only because he piqued my interest in learning more about spread trading. As BKR88 stated there is a lot of free education out there and I've spent most of this long weekend looking at it. I doubt GB has 800 dollars of wisdom in his course so I'm going to pass on it. I...

What are actions you can take to build your trading skills while the markets are closed?

https://www.flashbackrecorder.com/express/ I don't do it often now but when I was new I would record every trading day using the above free video recorder. It helped to review what I did wrong. One thing I wish someone had told me when I first started out is that what works for one guy/gal...

    Spread trading newbie has questions.

Hi tomas262, I looked closer at seasonAlgo and they do not mention data feeds or cost for data. Right now I am using Ninjatrader which does not support spreads. What is required to use seasonAlgo as far as data? I am looking for a cheap option right now to learn.

    Spread trading newbie has questions.

I've started listening to Guy Bowers podcast and his most recent two were about spread trading the futures markets. The concepts explained piqued my interest. Bowers offers a "course" in spread trading however before I spend the money I would like to do some independent education. I'm...

    NinjaTrader 8 Question...

Now the fun begins! Can you use the information to make better trading decisions? I find the footprint chart and delta info very useful. I find the volume profile somewhat useful and the depth of market not so much. Of course it all depends on your own perspective. There is a lot of free...

    NinjaTrader 8 Question...

The indicators should already be in your indicator list providing you have been keeping Ninjatrader 8 up to date. Just scroll down to "orderflow" and the indicators start there. You should also see a "volumetric bar" option in the chart type.
