Thanks.........what would you suggest as a way to get my option payout to look more like a spot trading position payout. I understand that delta tells you how closely option follows the underlying spot price, so does that mean the option needs to have a delta of 1 to follow the spot market payoff?

Also, if an ATM option will move by about half of the spot move, would that imply that i should more or less double my trade size to get the return characteristics of a spot position.

If everyone used TA exclusively.....do you still think you would find it that easy to make money using TA in the fx? Fundamental players drive price movement a lot and this inturn is picked up by technical indicators. The divergence of traders based on their strategies is a good thing...

They are just longterm trendfollwers........bubbles result in a trend and accelerated price movements don equal trends. Its just that they base their reason for putting on a trade through fundamental analyses, but essentially rely on a trend to make a profit.
