New Trade: Sell 4 ES at 1780, target 2 each at 1774 & 1776

I have orders to buy 2 contracts each at 70,71,72 and 73.

out at 1777 for 15*8 = 120 points = 120*50 = 6000 USD profit. Account equity = 46,400 + 6,000 = 52,400 USD

Add 3 more short at 1762. Already have 5 short from 1758.

Goal of this journal is to run 30k to 300k without encountering a 70% drawdown. If I prove to be successful in this goal, I will surely implement this approach in my real trading account :)

I use 5min bars on indices and I m good with it. If you are asking for stocks, ask someone else, since i m a beginner in stock world.

Lawrence, Thanks for the insightful post :) Will you please post some results from pre-1997 and also for 3 distinctively bull runs since 1997-1998. It will be very interesting to look at same model performing very differently in different bull runs. I will post some of my own results later...
