yes i trade everyday intraday stuff...this journal is though all paper....but yes i took very similar trades for my intraday trading

New Trade: sold 5 contracts at 1788 EDIT: This trade is based on fed minutes....not a swing trade, rather a quick opportunistic trade.

i looked at that blog post. Yes it can be used to make a point that ES systems are very hard to build and it is very efficient market. I think if author can do a relative study on 10 other markets then the findings will carry more weight - if the idea is to show that ES is very hard to trade...

when was it? is that reward still valid? how much is the reward?

but you make a good point that intention of this journal is swing trading, not day trading. In that spirit I am out of those 10 ES @ 1784 for breakeven. So, my position stands at 10 ES long from 1788. Thanks :)

Add 10 ES more @ 1784, Already have 10 ES from 1788 So a total of 20 contracts, on an equity base of 53k USD. which means I am going over the margin. which means i will have to reduce the size before end today.
