What is a good place to get started? These seem like low-risk instruments, with a decent upside, and a good place to get started trading.

I don't really understand how people time tops and such in advance, and I don't think using something I don't understand is the greatest of ideas.

This is a common bit of advice that gets tossed around. 'Learn Price Action,' well, I would love to. How exactly should one go about 'learning price action?'

I'm in a similar position to the OP (though I'm pretty sure I got turned down for employment at the firm he works for). What people are telling you is the best advice you will get. I'd love to have a seasoned mentor too, but I don't see it happening any time soon.
