I'd prefer some of more real world testing used by tomshw and yes... obviously you have to change everything if you already own an i7. That's why I complained about a lack of direct comparison by anandtech & tomshw.

Ah well... again this make my previous post truer: no direct comparison by online magazines with former best selling i7 CPUs. And probably with some OC @ 3.8/4.0 GHz, you will get the same 'K' performance with a 'legacy i7' without changing motherboard, CPU, reinstalling...

You are probably better served under the NT forum directly. However try with a Win7 x64 virtual machine and install NT7. Btw Zenfire 64 bit feed is not ready for prime time; you will be forced to use the 32 bit version for better reliability.

That was the meaning of my post, Wallace. Thanks for clarifying this view. Clearly TT recommends to install the latest release in order not to be forced to support all of the previous releases; but this is not what we talked about.
