More good info... Thanks! As I look into python packages, one potential pitfall I see is that there is often a hierarchy of dependance on other packages. Does this become much of a problem when upgrades are issued?

Just my humble opinion... Farley's web site is much better than his book. http://www.hardrightedge.com/tw.htm I think the info in his articles is a good as anything out there. I'm not sure what it was about the book, maybe the meter, but it seemed to beat you up a bit as you read it.
