    I didn't Think I'd do it Again

    Vix Under 20.00

Interesting Nitro. If you don't mind, what is the indicator that you humbly believe sees through through this phenomenon?

    Vix Under 20.00

The market looks like an overstuffed hog to me. Seeing such arrogance in your post leads me to wonder if this could one of those rare 10% of the time when your side of the trade gets slaughtered. best of luck

    Fed up with Tradestation

Eddy, Thanks for the link but I don't see any scripting language capabilities in linsoft. It looks like I can somewhat custimize indicators but doesn't have the flexibility of TS, ESignal or NeoTicker. Thanks. Chinook, I use IRT but not much of the RTL language. Check out this link...

    back from the dead

Yes Balda, One of the most destructive factors I have encountered is grandiosity running unchecked after a couple of good/lucky trades.

picking 1 product to trade and master

I spent most of my trading time during the last 3 years staring into the eyes of ES trading almost nothing besides it in all its various forms. Recommended? I don't know, but even doing this full time, she is still endlessly compelling.

    Trading on Apple Computer

You are true on all counts. Beesoft's ProTA Gold is a great EOD program. I prefer it for EOD even though the Linnsoft program does the same things.

    Trading on Apple Computer

I have been all mac for trading since IB TWS went Java. I use Linnsoft for charting and quotes with DTNIQ feed. I have also used trendsetter's Pro TA which is a basic, inexpensive, though solid program that only works with the MyTrack feed. The newer dual processor macs are fast enough to run...

Does IB ever respond to e-mails?

Thank You IB for Java!! I run it on Mac OS X and wouldn't do anything else but maybe a unix. Wouldn't you prefer to run your order entry software on a machine that just will not crash? On OS X, TWS is fast and rock stable.

    Blackjack - counting cards

CSMs have been around for a while. The reason they haven't and I'd guess won't take over completely is that most players including non-counters hate them. In most casinos I have been in, the machine shuffled tables are the least popular.

    what f*ck just happened

As I read it he agrees with you and references examples of futures exchange members having clout. I agree with you too, especially what you say about selling 100 YM at market on a holiday. Its just too odd.

    Who's from Chicago?

I saw them from a nearby apartment. They didn't seem any shorter- we actually thought longer and better. The police state display on LSD coupled with the patriotic battle music was almost Soviet though.

to those that bought the spike today

I don't think qqq or spy are any safer in the these situations A few years ago I traded SPY all day long. I was part of plenty of busted trades, especially on the ECNs. I don't remember details but I know that I successfully initiated busts on both Island and instinet for relatively small...
