    RR, Whats your reason for trading the ES, instead of spx or spy. Just curious. For the earnings play on goog and apple, i will wait for the week of the earnings to put on a position. I see the SP500 has snapped back to the underbelly of the 50day ma, we should pause around here...

    I did good, has some verticals bear calls on spx, appl and iwm. If i knew the size of the down move I would of had a much larger position. As of right now, holding very small, mostly looking for an up move into next week. EF

    You can sell options with IB with 5 figures. I am not sure margins have changed in 3-4 years.
