    Did I miss something?

Basically stocks have been going up non-stop since Jon Hilsenrath opened his mouth.

    21 year old beginner.

This is good advice. There are people who can make money consistently from price action and price patterns. Price has its own logic on how it wants to move, whether in its trending phase, trading range phase, the manner patterns are created, and the frequency and likelihood of all these phases...

The Path to Heaven or Hell

Certainly helps to have the right pedigree, i.e. ivy league education and top-tier IB work experience to make it into the big leagues. See Erich Mindich or Edward Lampert as examples. However, sometimes talent can find its way to the top regardless of lack of formal education or top tier IB...

    The APPLE Crash

I agree with this. Similar to the way IBM performed up to 1973, then stagnated into 1993, essentially going nowhere from 1967 to 1993.

    Insiders selling, retail fleeing

John Paulson wouldn't have been able to make $3.7 billion in 2007 if all he cared about was the current price action.

    Insiders selling, retail fleeing

Right, it's very dangerous to try to short this. Implication is taking a long only trading bias. Take all patterns/indicators that tell you to buy, but don't take the signals that tell you to short, which tend to have a higher probability of failure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jllJ-HeErjU...

Very true for anyone trading very short-term patterns and indicators.

    Insiders selling, retail fleeing

Seriously? Corporate officers have been huge net sellers over the past 2 years. See insiderscore. Figures reported by ICI shows retail investors also huge net sellers over past several years.

is the market ever going to go down

Strong jobs report made dollar strong. Stocks up on strong jobs report. Ergo, VIX goes down. What's interesting actually is Gold. It sold down hard following strong jobs report, but then reversed immediately and went to newer highs despite strong dollar.

gmcr in danger of violating the gap down open despite markets strong rally from open, which is not a good sign.

Nearly 95% of Greek Creditors Agree to Bond-Swap Deal

Bernanke preempted Greece restructuring with promise of QE.

When do you see the next reverse split for UVXY?

UVXY reverse split yesterday, 3/8/12. I'm guessing we'll see another one before year end.

    Date you short this market?

Good news, stocks go up. Bad news, markets go up even more because more QE is coming. Bernank won't stop until Gold is past $10,000.

    Finally a buyable pullback.

If market does not go up on sterilized QE, it would quickly become unsterilized. That's what the markets are reacting to, imo. Question: where level does Bernanke want to see the S&P 500 at?

    Date you short this market?

Dare Bernanke dares you. Too scary since he's like the casino and has unlimited money at his disposal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmtU2T8ICjA&feature=related Buy the dip reloaded: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQCOK_48tTk

    US - 30Y Bonds

I'm thinking maybe bonds can go to all-time highs to 150/152 price level on safe-haven buying to escape the problems in the world.
