A too common misconception. I trade earnings only "after the report." Most times volatility remains for a few days (or more )after earnings. check it out.
everybody plays the concept of volatility dropping once report is made. who sold this idea to everyone??

Every Thursday Wall St. Journal reports DOE weekly supply and weekly demand figures. any idea where they get demand data?
I had been using Briefing.com's free earnings reports which shows earnings estimates, actual earnings, and year ago earnings for all companies that report that day. They have now changed their site.
Where can I find something similar??
