Yeah left 20 points on the table because I was looking at the ES to determine my close. Gone long too, but I dont think this will be a big upward move.

Closed now approx 80 pt NQ gain.

That's fair, but you could say exactly the same for the opposite case too. The bulls failed to take the market higher all week. Which I think is more significant given how easily things get bullish typically. Tempted to hold on as so many stocks I track seem to look like they are about to break...

I am now again just. It flipped back up to above my entry point again in those last few mins. Only tiny positions though so down about £20 for now.

About time this drop came. I was sitting there wondering how the hell the indices can climb so much while hardly any stocks were going up.

This is why I see the move down to approx. 3800 before a move to 4100. But that last major low wasn't really that much lower than the previous one, so straight down from here is a possibility too. We don't have to preserve the repetitive patterns we have been seeing recently.

I'm 50 50 about the direction right now so staying out. Closed all shorts yesterday after giving back a tiny amount of profit.

Could be a fib bounce down here. Or maybe just a retracement

In hindsight the hourly was oversold, so I probably shouldnt have shorted there then.

I think it could get back to 3951 SPX soon. I will look to short again there too. I'm surprised it broke above the 3921 level. I put in a few shorts there. I wonder if some other like minded people did the same and created a short squeeze.

Closed half of my NQ shorts for approx 1000 point gain. Will see what the rest of the shorts do now. I will likely add to some shorts if there is a pump again. When I look at a lot of the major stocks, I see top formations so I think the SPX could at least get down to 3800 before 4100, or maybe...

Santa rally is in December though.

Me too. Not seeing anything bullish here. Just pump and dump after pump and dump.

SPX now also back under the 0.618 level again I posted yesterday that repelled it down. Could be another drop coming soon.
