What's with all the headlines regarding stock market crashes this week, wishfull thinking?

May 2010 flash crash, Knight Trading, etc. tells me different. That was my initial thought speculating it was a damage control move. Whatever the reason, we all have front row seats (as I reach into my bowl of popcorn)

I would not rule out the possibility of an early report that was supposed to go out to the insiders(FED, GS, JPM, etc.) finding it's way to the mainstream.

I'm guessing it was a strategic move to announce the bad news during trading hours rather than having the stock fall from the sky at tomorrow's open after investor's fears had grown all night long.

Especially when the FED is knowingly manipulating it upwards!
