Really need to be patient to stay in trade in this slow market. I caught both bottoms today and both got out way too earlier due to the slow action. Lessons learnt.

David666, Since you shorted 848.25, the high tick of RTH. I'm assuming you were anticipate the trade and place the limit order beforehand. My question is: Since 848.25 is so close to GLOBEX high 849, why didn't you think that it might pierce GLOBEX high and reverse since this kind of...

Did anybody get onboard on this early-morning sell-off? I certainly not. I found it very difficulty to comprehend this sell-off. Even in retrospect, there is only one reason for the 848.25 turning at 9:37 EST, ie., TL tounch at resistance. However, given the time of the day, it is hard to...

Dowward pace is slow. If there is one more push lower I'm thinking of long just below 842.75.

Maybe that's part of the reason. Generally I find it's difficulty to short slow markets overall even though the trend is down. Maybe that's a problem related to my style of trading. I definitely has more work to do.

Recently I found my long trades perform much better than short trades. I become more cautious on short trades.

It's difficulty to short this market. They want to wear out Bears. The slow pace is a good way to trap and wear out Bears, IMO.

It seems thas as Fed cuts interest rate to almost zero, the volatility of post-FOMC announcent is also waning. Lackluster FOMC day, to say least.

I only try to read and undertstand what's happening now. I don't want to worry about the day after tomorrow. This is why I trade intraday.

The examples shown in the charts are quite similar to my own intrepretation. As I recall, Toni Hansen also talks about pace. She has her own intrepetation. I believe the idea is quite similar.
