For sure 27 inches 4K kicks ass, I can clearly say that as 24 inches 1920*1080 monitor owner, single one, I do need to add something or change my monitor setup of one completely this year already by looking at what people playing at and so on.

If you really know the software of the brokers which will work there why not ? I assume a lot of laptops can really run the Linux here anyway. What do you mean by derivers issue here anyway ? Just buy laptop and install Linux, many Linux OS now support everything.

Windows 7 is very very old system, by the date of my post is already like 10 years old, only think about that once again - 10 years old anyway. You better go with somethin modern like Windows 10 1903 and stick with it really and you will be fine.

Let me tell you that I have like 11 years old PC which could handle all that operations listed here, it costed like $1500 along with monitor, and I did few upgrades during that time like new Graphic card as well as new CPU, it's still handling all Office and other tasks well.

I couldn't imagine myself working at 60" monitor. I am now sitting on 24" for many many years and I still do not want to go anything higher than 27" for example. My eyes and overall health I think will be broken cause of so big size of screen in front of me.
