IB TWS , only one setting for Time and sales?

Dude you need to chill. You're giving yourself an ulcer.

IB API Option Contract error 200: No security definition has been found for the request

Not if you're downloading the chain itself. OP's implementation is similar to mine.

    OCC options assignment price?

In the future you should avoid running it down to the wire to squeeze out a few extra cents.

IB TWS , only one setting for Time and sales?

T&S on IB isn't particularly useful anyway since it's not true tick data. If I needed that I'd subscribe to IQFeed.

Looks like it might be sooner than later.

Forex: Is a pip the smallest price increment?

I remember when Oanda introduced pipettes but I'm not sure if they're universally supported.

C++ price type to properly deal with rounding error?

If you're doing this all yourself and you're most familiar with C++ then you should just stick with it. It's the fastest way from point A to point B.

C++ price type to properly deal with rounding error?

Thanks for that wiki link. I couldn't remember what that was called. I've used GMP in the past as well for some crypto stuff. It was a total PITA to get it compiled under Windows, though it's a no-brainer in Linux.

C++ price type to properly deal with rounding error?

You're right straight-up float and double types exhibit rounding problems with some numbers. Have you looked at any fixed point libraries? There are plenty to choose from for C++, including Boost.Multiprecision. BTW if you're not already using Boost I suggest you consider it. One nice thing is...

    VIX fly / spread journal

Long and short generally mean if it was put on for a debit or a credit. The canonical calendar spread is long the far month and short the close month. Those are always for a debit, therefore it's a long.

Looking for delta in IB TWS

I don't know why you had grayed out fields or deltas of 0 or -1. I have delta and theta up all the time and they're always sensible during market hours. Maybe trading was halted during earnings announcement? The deltas appear roughly correct. Keep in mind that screenshot 1 and screenshot 3...

why is Chinese bitcoin so much cheaper?

Holding large amounts of BTC in a wallet you don't have total control over is nuts.

I changed my diet despite loud family resistance. Sometimes you just have to be a jerk to do what's best.

The race to zero in endless online brokerage-fee war already has been won

I remember being baffled how they made money and still am. Right on their web site they say they make money from premium features like after hours trading and margin. Somehow it still smells like vaporware to me.

    Opinions please

Way back when I was approaching 50 I was steadily posting all-time-highs every week. What triggered me to change course was needing a new suit since the old one didn't fit any more. NoDoji convinced me to go vegetarian and it turned out to be the best thing I ever did. I ended up losing 20+%...
