    Traders with mental problems

I take it you've never suffered from a mental illness? It is highly arrogant to state that one requires treatment from a professional, as this is not necessarily the case. Depending on the illness (and the available health care professionals in one's area), one might be better off treating...

All this talk of "math", and you are using Multicharts for backtesting/simtrading? I can't remember that being in the CFA curriculum.... I haven't completed the CQF yet, though. Maybe I'll learn it there? ------ That being said, I think some of the posters should think twice before...

    Cranks

Haha... I'm staying out of all discussions regarding math on this board (there are other places better suited for that), but I do find it funny that there is so much argument over relatively simple concepts. However, as I cherish my sanity, I will not get involved....

Today I bought a new frying pan. It's made of stainless steel and looks very cool. However, it is also quite dangerous -- because it can get very hot. I did try to fry some bacon and it mastered the job perfectly. That's all I wanted to share; thank you and goodbye!

Yes, but if a thought comes to mind and one routinely goes to the Random thread to post it, then that is not very random, is it?

That is either the most avant-garde presentation of risk management I have ever seen, or he is slightly more insane than I previously thought.

    Psychopath "Tells"

They are also very narcissistic. In fact, what many would classify as a psychopath might be a malignant narcissist. There is quite a bit of overlap here.

    Psychopath "Tells"

I read an interview with Simon Baron-Cohen, in which he said that psychopaths have functioning cognitive empathy, but lack the affective part. It is the opposite for autistic people. Understanding the feelings of others cognitively would fall in the category of empathy. It is a matter of...
