I do not totally understand your needs totally but you should look at DTN IQFeed or Tradier. DTN is good and cheap and Tradier is free and they compete with IB.

I would not say I am new to options trading but i feel like I would need to sharpen my skills. Can anyone recommend a good and independent options mentoring program or educator. I do not want to move my brokerage account as I get a very good rate from my current broker.

Me too. I left them after tears/years of complaining. I moved to a new broker for and use optionvue 7.45 to submit my trades. I should have done it a few years ago too.

moved one of my accounts to tradier about 2 weeks ago from ib. No flags. Order submit page is very basic and works.

JesseJamesFinn is right. You might be better of using a discount brokerage with a good platform like e-option or Tradier.com
