    I think that the long version is: FBO= Failing to break out of the right side trend line, or after doing so, fails to remain outside the trend line (right side) for one bar.

    I listed some overall rules on the signals to decide points of change or continuation. It should help with "A" and "D". Of course your resolution level and context may change some of these. Check out the list and let me know if anyone has any additions and I'll include them on the corrected...

    After reading this several times, I changed the words "Large" to "Increasing" and "Small" to "Decreasing", and added "or lateral movement"..........

    Spydertrader, From what you and others have posted, I conclude: Normally, volume leads price. Price volatility and direction is proportional to volume. Large volume means anticipate high volatility and dominant direction. Small volume means anticipate low volatility and non-dominant...

    Just one suggestion from me. I print lots of charts to study when I'm not at home, but your chart would take up so much ink because of the black background that I wouldn't do it. Also it appears to me that the colors of the chart make the chart harder rather that easier to read, just MHO.....
