    Metatrader 4 broker

aarontrade offers strategyrunner + metatrader with currenex-pricing. i have no experience with them nor with mt4, but it might be worth checking them out.

    EFX Group

I doubt FXMarketspace trades in minilots tho, since the target-audience are institutionals. How could this be of use for a STP-broker like efx that trades in 10k increments? Then again, maybe i am just uninformed..

    EFX Group

Its not unethical, since everyone can look up their commissions and swap rates. I like their platform, i just don't see any point in trading there with the current commission-structure. Others do the same as them for less than half of what they charge.

    OANDA at 9 am

Why are people constantly making this stuff up? Come on, this is simple math. Neither is it significantly cheaper (au contraire, my friend) nor are futures more liquid than spot (how did you come to THAT conclusion). That holds true even for retail FX. Lets just compare a 1 Mio cable trade at...

To one of the multibank platforms. Random example here: http://www.atcbrokers.com/index_forexpro.htm There are lots of other brokers who can provide this access too.

What is the Best FX Broker?

The question of the OP is seriously flawed, since there is no "best FX broker". If you are daytrader, good executions and low commissions are important. One of the well known multibank-platforms are commendable. If i traded EOD, id choose the retail offering from a bank (DB or ABN i.e.)...

What is the Best FX Broker?

Yes it is true, its 2 most of the time, sometimes 3, sometimes 1. But remember that you pay them 19 USD commission per RT for a 100k cable trade.

Currenex, HotSpotFxi, Lava - Pimps for the Banks? - No Scalpers

Why is everybody hyping currency futures? Especially cable and especially during euro-session its rather dire on globex, sometimes just a few contracts on the best bid offer. On IB commissions for a 1 mio trade on cable work out to around 45 Usd per side. No thanks, ill take my business...

Actually, i just realized their $5 per 100k Units traded means $5 for USD/JPY or USD/CHF, but for example with cable at 1.9700 you trade 10 lots cable: 197000 GBP for 100000 USD, that means works out to around 9.9 USD comission per side. So effectivly you can add 2 pips on the cable-spread...

Nope, doesnt work with them. Makes their GTIS feed only half as interesting. Seems only esignal provides that.

    GTIS Forex feed

Thanks QS. I suppose the Premium one is the one where you can "compose" your own forex-feed out of all FX GTIS contributors? thats the feature im interested in.

    EFX Group

I have now done a few trades and played around with their API. Average execution-speed for me was ca. 950ms (altho, i ping around 200ms to their servers). Spreads are good, the "inversed" quotes during fast markets dont seem to be a big problem for me. I think its hard to exploit them, the...

    GTIS Forex feed

Are there any other data-providers who offer the GTIS forex feed beside esignal? I just want a charting-package with this feed and dont need anything else. Ideally a bit cheaper than $185/month. Regards, pippi

    EFX Group

I signed up with a small account to see for my self. It is not yet funded, so i didn't do any trades as of now, but i can log in and watch the quotes. If they proof to be somewhat useful, i will use them as my backup-broker. As far as the higher bids than offers are concerned, i dont think...

    EFX Group

I just looked at their demo again, during the U.S. durable goods release. Witnessed higher bids than offers in their books again, on several occassions, just like last time. I like their plattform, i like their free api, but what good is it if they cant get their act together and have a mess...

    Article in Futures Mag

The author of this article should have rather pointed out how hard it is to achieve a consistent 20 Pips gain per day in FX daytrading rather than show how much one would make achieving this with a small account.
