Actually CrazyA has, except they aren't for sale. I assure you, they are not cryptic, just golden. Joe

Can you trade by price action alone?

Actually what I find comical is that you must go through the trouble of annotating your entries and exits when almost every package does it for you automatically. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. :D

Decided against this, with stop at entry + 1 Will remain short 100% looking for new downside on the first half to cover that portion.

Taking 50% out of the short swing at the 4PM close, whatever that will be, will update tonight. Second half is much more ambitious, leaving it for a market collapse or a break-even stop.

Crazy A, I took your suggestion on two contracts, your original post suggested the gap fill area and a bend of the neck as targets. Do you still feel that way, has anything changed ? Again, thank you for your help!

Daytrading timeframe question - for experienced and profitable traders only please

Not worried about the thrill, however, I do worry about gaps against me when swing trading. How do you handle that ? Thank you

Daytrading timeframe question - for experienced and profitable traders only please

I definitely appreciate all the responses, just trying to learn from the different perspectives to improve my techniques. At the present time I am using channels to determine the trend. Unfortunately even if I only choose one timeframe to keep things simple, I tend to start finding...

Daytrading timeframe question - for experienced and profitable traders only please

Thank you for your reply, I wanted to get that out of the way before posting my concerns to avoid sounding like a critic. You say that is how most people do it, perhaps so, but isn't it true that most people actually fail at trading ? In regards to Crazy A, I don't think he is...

    Intraday Indicators

I don't understand why the norm in ET is to discuss trading with an attitude and with punches and insults rather than with class and wit. It's not the subject it's this site, it does not happen elsewhere, at least in the same capacity. It's truly a shame because this site has more traffic...

Daytrading timeframe question - for experienced and profitable traders only please

I find that using multiple timeframes for daytrading confuses me as I begin to doubt small trends conflicting with big trends and vice versa. For instance, a strong trend develops on the 5 minute chart and I notice another trend on the 60 minute chart is approaching what I consider to be...

Technical Analysis is .......to my trading...

TA works and it works quite well. The problem is in the interpretation. Waiting for something special to occur and catch a side defenseless, when they need to throw the towels, their pain is your gain. Direction is everything but it is not always crystal clear. Waiting for clarity...

    ES Journal Archive (2011)

Thank you for jumping into the discussion. If you are unable to enter at a better price after getting stopped, I don't see why entering at a worse price, but now with additional confirmation from the market that your chosen direction is in fact correct, is a problem. The re-entry does...

    ES Journal Archive (2011)

This post is targeted at those that add to positions going against them. Why is adding to a losing trade better than getting stopped for a small loss and re-entering ? Letting the loss and risk increase instead of cutting it lose does not make any sense to me from a trading perspective...

Best representation of CL in stocks ?

I'm interested in investing in CL for the longer term (Light Sweet Crude Oil) but CL contract leverage is much more than what I'm willing to invest. Which is the best CL representation in Equities so I can use proper sizing ? Thank you kindly.
