which would be just great, imho. of course, ever the devil's advocate, i can see the other side: not fair to those who have greater need, or who are working hard and paying all the taxes traders aren't, blah, blah, blah.... i tell you what, though, if trading did go the way of less...

how about a "chop it up" day? other suggestions: chop 'n spring chop 'n pop that's it, chop 'n pop. kinda catchy, don't you think?

i've been away for a few days. figured tuesday's gap and crap was my last chance to sell my bottom-feeding longs, and it's interesting how i managed to nail that one on the head. 50% fib retracement leaves us at 1065, the high of tuesday. (actually, 1067 was the high, but who's splitting...

Why I might vote for Barack

although i hate political discussions on et because they tend to dissolve into so much namecalling, rhetoric, and hyper-emotional opining, i will add a few cents here. has anyone noticed how obama in this speaches of late is giving a nod to the market, market makers, and all those involved in...

it's all a learning process, dude. don't sweat it. we all make mistakes sometimes. the important thing is to keep learning and keep progressing. kicking yourself is not constructive, although it's human nature to do so. nitpicking and splitting hairs over little things that don't matter...

thanks, sal, appreciate the complement. i came with up 1190 by using traditional pivot points and inputting data from rth only. could get a different s1 if you use 24 hour data or different hours (e.g., 0815 to 1600).

    ES Journal Archive (2006 - 2008)

the fact that we didn't bounce very hard off the 1190 test would tend to make me believe that we may go lower yet, but again not betting on it at this time.... could be another step down day, to quote pekelo's terminology. or we could go back up after lunch...what do they call that? a...

i have s1 at 1190. we'll see if it holds. if i had to guess, i would say that it would likely hold, but i'm not betting money on this...yet. s2 is 1173, so spectre's goal of 1180 would be somewhere in the middle and not a bad goal....

i would have to agree with you that we are most likely going lower, especially since we keep testing the 1205 line in the sand....
