When I logged in this eve, I was suprised to see that my 2%trailing stop did not get filled by the end of the day, in addition to that, RATE exceeded FRV of 184238. I will be setting my new stop to 5%. I had a gain of about 1%, not much, but better than a loss :p

Thursday, November 17, 2005 Here are the trades I made today. At 10:04 I went long 96 of TIE for 54.4 per share but got stopped out and lost $ 116 At 10:25 I am long 166 of RATE for 30.70 per share. Still long in RATE but set my trailing stop of 2% because have to go to work. G87

So when the stochastics are set up properly we monitor the %D line on the chart to be > 80 for a "go" signal. G87

Hi martys, I have learned the hard way to never enter a position unless the MACD is positive, the lower DU is made and the SLOW stoch is above 80. Some people go in early some late but I am just trying to follow the rules while I am still in the learning curve. I suspect that I am shark bait...

Hi dougcs, If the MACD is set up like this EM1=5 EMA2=13 Smooth=6 then maybe you need backfill the chart so that the MACD carries over from the day before. G87
