Ok - think whatever you want because it's obvious no one can tell you any fact that would actually make you see that your statement is incorrect...

I actually kind of like your trading style and cannot argue with your results but you are dead wrong here. Options markets are huge - and volume has exploded over the past four years. The open interest on a nominal scale is quite phenomenal. Friday we opened high on some massive volume - we...

I have noticed the same thing on a slightly different level. Every instance over the past three months when it appears the market is getting set to fall apart one key sector gets a huge bid - be it tech, energy or financials. Yesterday it was tech - today it was financials - maybe tomorrow...

Series 7 vs. CFA level I

Honestly I learned a lot studying for the CFA but I think it's a waste at this point. The financial industry is in shambles and I have little faith it will resemble anything close to what it was 2 years ago over the next 10 years. Does the CFA help you some job wise? Maybe, but just a little...

Series 7 vs. CFA level I

I have a CFA and Series 7 - though my 7 expires next week. CFA (any level) infinitely mroe difficult that the 7. Sure there is a little overlap but I think 7 (took it in 2002) is much more regulatory than CFA.

Also a pretty strong eurodollar move today. Seeing as how it's moved in lock step with equities since March should be a tell on bigger picture.

Feels like sucker's rally - a lot of volume in cash markets still to go down between now and close tomorrow - would expect it to pickup into the close today.

If you are long from 700 - assuming you are talking about the futures - then you either have to roll to september by tomorrow or get out then correct?

Looking for possible pop to 16 to 18 (918) then some afternoon failure for new lows on the week Edit: Sratch that thought - I missed the shooting star (inverted hammer) on 60 min chart (24 hr) - should imply drop very soon. New high on day negates....

No clue about today but my hunch is that the weekly bar will close rather red - lower than here - by tomorrow.
