Daytraders: Do you use Profit and Loss Limits for the Day?

That's a smart way of trading. If you're down a little you have to take the loss - because if you continue to trade you can very easily continue losing then get really reckless and suffer a catastrophic loss. It takes great faith and confidence in yourself to accept a loss - knowing there are...

Daytraders: Do you use Profit and Loss Limits for the Day?

You can't compare a casino - an institution with a HARD EDGE with an individual trader with a soft edge assuming an "edge" even exists in trading. 90% of traders lose and 90% can't walk away from the action no matter how much they are up or down for the day. That tells you something.

Daytraders: Do you use Profit and Loss Limits for the Day?

When I traded at a prop firm - I never saw anyone leave early regularly so I'm assuming almost all traders 90%+ don't like to stop trading until the market closes. To me that's a sign of being addicted to the action, and not having a goal driven focus.

Daytraders: Do you use Profit and Loss Limits for the Day?

First of all this tread is geared towards daytraders and not investors or swing traders. Now every trader knows that fear/greed is the enemy. Usually when having a losing position if you allow fear to possess you: you hold and hope to get even. You may even average down. Eventually you...

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

Hey - if you believe in love then I have a romance novel to sell to you :D. Yes, I view a pre-nup as a stop loss. And Karol - a guy can be a misogynist and still be 100% respectful towards his woman. Similarly, even a feminist can fall madly in love with a hot piece of cock.

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

Those guys are losers that sell seminars - kinda like ex-traders that failed at trading and resort to seminar selling. I watched a documentary about dating and there were some PUA guys there and out of 60 interactions with women - all failed. The PUA game is like indicators - it works...

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

A new question came to my mind: Lets say a man gets divorced and he is paying 5k/month for spousal support (limited due to prenup) and is paying court ordering 10k/month for child support. Now is the 10k/month in child support required to be spend on the kids? Or can the woman go on a...

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

I'm in NJ. I'm not sure how your ex didn't get anything but a fishing rod unless you had a prenup. I'm looking into the trust thing now - it seems interesting. If I create a trust and I'm the sole trustee and the sole beneficiary - is that a good way to protect my ASSets? I'd like to...

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

Exactly. Any guy worth more than 10 million that pays a matchmaker 250k to hook him up with a dumb gold-digging coke head deserves to lose every penny. The key to marital happiness is finding a traditional, submissive girl with good genes and using all types of mind control to keep her that way.

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

That's the kind of culture we need to be a great culture again. But instead, today women are dicks and men are pussies - a complete and disgusting role reversal. All I want is two kids that are my own. Once I get that, she can fuck whoever she likes - I don't care, I'll never touch her...

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

So lets say, for example, if John Paulson was divorced and had a kid. When he made 2 billion in 2007, if he had a kid and had to pay 1/3 of his income as child support then his kid would be entitled to 666 million? That's why I asked: is child support based on need? All a child really...

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

Protect your ASSets fools. All you need to do is nail one huge Bull/Bear market in your lifetime to be rich. Don't end up fools like Paul McCartney, Russell Simmons, Steven Spielberg, and millions of other guys.

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

To you guys that say don't get married - if every guy listened to you the human population would implode. And it would be a dog-eat-dog world (more so than it already is). Marriage is a contract so you just have to make sure you enter it in a way that protects your ASSets. I have a few...

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

You're very naive about human nature. No act of kindness ever goes unpunished. Humans are a very selfish and shady bunch of critters. You can't trust anyone. Especially when you're rich.

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

Here are the terms I want in the prenup: - No financial support for the spouse if either of the following conditions are true: (1) the marriage lasts less than 3 years (2) there are no kids - In the event of a divorce the girl is entitled to 50% of my earnings after the marriage but she is...

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

I think this is the best solution if there is no prenup. But if the girl's lawyer subsequently finds out that I've been hiding assets - he'll probably come after me again and there would be another trial.

    Protecting Assets From a Divorce

Too be honest, I'm a misogynist . I've never met a girl I respected. They are all shady pigs. That being said, I don't want to be alone and its nice to have someone to cook and clean after you. Kids would be nice too. Marriage is an unavoidable issue when you're with a girl for a while...
