You wish! National debt stands closer to 30 trillion (!!), you'll need to look a little closer

Taking the emotion out of daytrading?

The game itself, you can not; the trick professional video poker players use is to take advantage of pay out rates. A good player will be able to seek out a machine with a higher than average pay out for a particular hand, this is where an edge can be obtained.

How much did u make in 2003

Copernicus, very few are earning this kind of money anymore (especially not if they're sitting on ET lol)

    Monthly Volume

Also depends on the trading style. Many will only do 5-10 rt's a day taking a point or two in each, then there are momentum scalpers who will do 20k+ rt's a month

Stock Fetcher Screener - Any reviews?

I use it to find good candidates for my swing trading strategy, I have a journal here for those trades

    3:1

Yes, basically the idea of cutting losses, letting profits run, losing small, winning big, etc. etc. scales based on risk tolerance/trading style

    FastTrader Futures-Trading Journal

Seems to me (without looking at accompanying charts to your trades) that you should/could be pushing your winners farther. Good job handling losses it looks like, though.

    3:1

It all depends on your style. On some it is very difficult to take 6 points on a trade. The 3:1 is just a guideline, it would be great if you could pull 6+ on your winners.

Do the ES and full contract mirror each other?

They are almost perfectly correlated. The farthest they're usually apart is like 20 cents or so.

That was fun, got positive slippage (filling at 1.02) and put in my exit at what I thought was 1.05, didn't get there by the end of the day so figured I'd just post today saying t hat I held. Well, I checked my position just now and then I realized my sell order was for 2.05, lol, this one...

    Is Anyone Left Short?

Why fight the trend? Anyways, regarding people calling a top, it will only come after all those people are done and decide to go long :) That's what the market does to ya

I used to scalp a penny or two (1-2%) off penny stocks but that can only be done with below $1500ish, otherwise I'm moving too much. I just look for basic stuff, a pullback from a large scale up trend and a reversal back into that trend in the works.

Yes, I see the descending triangle, I don't use it in my analysis but it pops out at you on this chart. I'm playing this downside breakout as a failure, I like the hammer, the main reason I'm taking this one. Volume has also been slowly creeping out, could mean a big move in either direction...

Didn't get a fill on that, I believe no trading occured below 2.15, that trade at 2.10 was erroneous. Having freetrade investigate nonetheless. Play for 1/20 is HEC, lim at 1.03. BUY 2692 shares of HEC, Harken Energy at LIMIT of 1.03 DAY

    Pete's Place

I tend to enter with 1 or 2 contracts and add 1 (up to two times, biggest position I trade is 4 contracts) if I caught a trend, it has corrected, and it looks like it's resuming the trend. Entering with 1 (or 2), if the trade doesn't go my way within a minute and a half or so, I'll scratch.
