    Perpetual Options

Coach, I understand what OTC options are and way back in the late 1980's and very early 1990's made prices on an otc currency options desk. I realize back then even what was an exotic is not nearly as sophisticated as what is out there now. Point being the arguing about this on an...

    Sums many up on here

I agree Bogan. The problem is that this is the internet. Its a place where the people who believe they deserve the respect they crave and dont get it in the real world come to flex their anonymous internet muscles and pretend to be what they wish they were in real life. See this current fool...

    Rookie Question

No offense but there is no way to take those things into account, this mornings opening is a perfect example. Options are deivative products, their price is dependent on the price of the underlying vehicle and the markets are very efficient, granted the are other variables such as implied...

Earning day out of money options trading strategy

Sorry, you're right I should have stats handy on backing that up if I am going to post it and I dont. My apologies I try to keep it real. Earning day out of money options trading strategy

You're making an assumption that you know something that the market does not when you buy out of the money options for earnings plays. In general straight buying of out of the money options for earnings historically has been a loser.

    Best Stocks for Big money

"large" is a relative term, what you consider large I am sure the market would not notice in the majority of stocks

    box spreads

You're doing both in reality. Some bigger firms will sell the BOX to raise short term capital in a big jam.

    box spreads

MTE has wrapped it up correctly. Doing a box, if you can get it on for fair value ( fair value in this case is no mystery ) is simply lending or borrowing money from the market.

How Locals Make Money in Options

You wont see a "local" trade with another MM in almost any pit in the world, not directly at least. Virtually all MM's will not cross the bid offer spread and give up the theoretical edge unless they're realyl jammed up.

How I beat my broker, so they can't front run me.

The paranoia is entertaining. IB does not care haow much you make and they dont front run orders. You get NBBO regardless.
