Hmmm.. spreads were wide and jumping all over the place. Prints were going off in .50,.75 or more increments. I was sweating bullets managing my open longs but people were hitting my inflated offers left and right. I bailed with a nice profit and terrible headache after 2.5 hours trading.

Exactly, probably not to difficult to implement for just one individual exchange. But then your stuck with one DPM's quote for that spread. Who wants that. Better to shop your complex orders, ( or leg if your good at it)

Correcto, a short iron butterfly = a long butterfly.. as far as both will show the greatest profit at expiration if the underly finishes at the inside straddle exercise

Don, quit inhaling that cigar dude. "traders in the pit a long time...............lot's of money".....That's controlling the stock? Now I'll agree they edge as far as seeing large option orders coming into the pit, but generally their just laying off stock "delta" against their positions.

I don't think this is "sub llc" situation. The ownership of Pax may "hold" an interest in the Pax broker dealer, and If anything I would think that adds value. Anyway " Don the Lurker" should be chiming in soon with his two cent spin on this
