Scalping Equity Options!

An example of such manipulation might work like this: if August 12 calls for options on XYZ Co. were quoted at 10 cents bid/20 cents offered on the PCX, the customer might enter an order to buy one options contract at 19 cents on the PCX, typically also raising the best bid at other exchanges...

    Rates!

Have you tried NYSE? Most people here are trading NYSE, I believe. The naz has REALLY changed over the last year or two. imo, whether or not you make it will be most influenced by how badly you want it, and how much you can put up with until then (like not having a salary).

Stay put at least until you make money. When you do start making money, it may be worth it to stay prop for the leverage available. .01 to .015 is pretty competitive for naz now, if you are not doing volume (I assume you are not). No, imho, going non-prop will not increase discipline...

    Questions from a non-trader

no one can teach you to trade Especially not any "home study course" or "day trading university." If you ever read the testimonials of these places, they all sound great. That's because they ask for the recommendation at the end of the class or training. The student has been pumped...

    Baron is Short-Sighted

Why is it so hard to let him run his business the way he wants to? He will, and he does. Believe it or not (and no one will, fine) I actually do believe that it is in his best interest not to have such an itchy trigger finger for the delete key. Maybe it's because I'm "stupid" and...

    Baron is Short-Sighted

So touchy. Judge me as you wish. I'm not calling you names. My original point was that I feel it is in your best interest to not bitch about "off-topic" Worldco posts. You are being given good content at no charge to you. Worldco does not even compete with Terranova. What is the...

    Baron is Short-Sighted

Thank you for being so diplomatic. Hitman is drawing visitors to ET, making Baron money. Why does Baron need to be bitchy about plugging Worldco? Why does he care, as long as he gets free content and visitors?

    Baron is Short-Sighted

From now on, all posts that are directed to Hitman regarding the specifics of Worldco will be considered off-topic and therefore deleted. If you have questions about Worldco, please use Worldco's own web site, call them directly, or send Hitman a private message. Thanks. In an effort to...

    Pointdirex or IB

PD's sw is sort of an offspring of The Watcher, one of several. There are many people who love the speed of this type of order entry. imo, it will be faster than IB. Maybe not by very much, but if speed is a top priority, I would pay the extra .0025 that PD costs in commission after ecn fees.

    Good methods in today's market

You are going to get a lot of advice. The simple techniques will always work to some degree - support/resistance, trend lines, etc. Tape reading will always work for those who master it. Stop losses and money management will keep you in the game. More complex indicators/developing my...
