You are absolutely right that indicators alone will not work, and will require looking at market internals to pull the trigger. They also stress tape reading. In the end, trader skills is critical in sucessful trading. Only in the garbage infomercials like "wise trade, teach me to trade, etc."...

Called cyber trader customer service yesterday. Waited only a few minutes. Called E-trade a few weeks ago, and was on hold for over 30 minutes. What is annoying is that they try to sell some credit card over the phone. Declined twice, and they still keep on calling. E-trade probably...

Hopefully Schwab is not trying to take cost cutting to the extreme at the expense of customer service and reliability of the platforms. I have a E-Trade account, and waited 35 minutes for customer service on the phone.

I would agree. Trading what fits your style is extremely important.

Does this apply to YM traders as well? On the CBOT website, it mentions in one of the articles that YM transactions only need to be reported as a single line, and details are not necessary. In any case, this new requirement sucks. Some daytraders will need a box to mail their tax returns.

I have read their articles and looked at the webinars on the CBOT site. Good information. They did some radio shows on the Robin Dayne website too. Not sure what the live trading room is like, but look forward to joining in the near future.

I like their free video newsletters. Thinking of joining their trading room after I get my futures account set up. Currently day trading Nasdaq stocks but would like to focus more on sp/ym futures this year.

His books are good, but I personally would not go to his seminar. I would rather go to a seminar taught by someone who actually trades similar to my own style.

Perhaps someone drilled him with some questions at a seminar to make him confess.

I currently have an account with E-Trade. Currently considering doing covered calls on a larger scale using ETF's. After reading this thread, am having doubts about funding any additional money. If E-Trade still has security problems, then which broker would be safer? Thanks

Having problems with disconnecting many times, mostly in the morning trading hours. Most likely DSL connection issues, but may be Cyber related if other traders are having the same problem.
