Finally, I decided it: I'll get a loan on my home (mortgage) to invest!

No point in continuing this "discussion". Again, it's the "since I can't do it, I concluded that nobody else can" kind of shit. I regret wasting time in this thread. It will be ignored forever.

    Shorter time frame watchlists?

How do you define "change in the last hour"? Change for the last 60 x 1-min bar? Or change since 10:00 am/11:00 am/etc.? At any rate, you probably need to write your own program to calculate what you want from the datafeed.

    Tradestation problems

Has the TradeStation problem been resolved? I live in the left coast. I didn't sign on until 9:20 am EDT and all seemed to be okay with me. But I did experience short outages on TradeStation (about 2 minutes each time) in the first 2 hours of trading. I thought it was my DSL issue.

Finally, I decided it: I'll get a loan on my home (mortgage) to invest!

Take a mortgage on a house to trade is okay - if you know what you are doing. Take a mortgage on a house to invest. I think that is bad. It depends on your start-point/end-point. If you mortgage your house in beginning of 2008 to "invest". The broad market had been down more than 40%...

There goes all my respect for you with that statement. "Since I can't do it, I concluded that nobody else can..." kind of shit.

    China GDP

Yeah. For 2 hours. 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm local time (true for Hong Kong, not sure if same for Tokyo and Shanghai). Flat line for 2 hours. Screw up your 1-minute chart and moving averages huh! "Intraday gap"... LOL. For Hong Kong... 4 hour trading each day. Guess pre and post market...

Finally, I decided it: I'll get a loan on my home (mortgage) to invest!

Get debt to invest is a bad idea in general. But... in a bull stock market while the interest rate is relatively low, some can profit handsomely with that leverage. However, we are not in a bull market. So this strategy may be questionable. As long as your profit can cover your expenses...

    buy buy buy goog

Give that poor guy a break, people! He has been right for the past month. I am not a perma bull. But I am not a perma bear either. I take what the market wants to give me. GOOG has risen from the low of below 300 to 380 today for the past five weeks. Even counting just from the first...

    Daytraders favourite securities to trade

You might have been thinking of the DotCom era. Yeah, Nasdaq used to be the king once. For the past year, it's been $BKX. LOL! :p

    Daytrading in 5+ years

Day trading (as we know it in USA) in Hong Kong? Haha... haha... Do you notice that all Hong Kong stock charts have a 2-hour flat-line right in the middle? Yeah. It's called "lunch hour". Local time 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. ..... Oh... you want to sell out your holding? What...

    Pictures of your trading stations

Very nice otcstockfund! Are the 3 monitors on the top row attached on the same mount? The 3 monitors on the lower row standing on their own pedestals? Or all 6 attached to one mount?

No update on Day 11. Day 10 was so close to $100k. I hope it didn't mean you have gambled it away and reset to $27k.

Single Stock Futures Do Fall Under Pattern Day Trading

I stand corrected. Sorry. I thought the margin was 100:1. But for SSF it is only 20% for OneChicago SSF. The 60/40 split gain does not apply to SSF either. SSF are taxed like securities.

Single Stock Futures Do Fall Under Pattern Day Trading

The page you referenced did mention stocks and options. And they are under the Pattern Day Trading rules. But I didn't find any mentioning of Single Stock Futures. I will be really surprised if they let you trade Single Stock Futures in the same account that is used to trade stocks. They...
