I used to live on 53rd street in 2005/06 a block from Sutton Place. They do have a great rooftop but the place gets crazy crowded during happy hour times. Unless you get there by 4/4:30, its impossible to move around at all. At least it was like that couple years ago.

Would be ideal for me, I live only 3 blocks from there.

I actually can say that so far, no lag....but the day is still very young.

Its the esignal charts that I dont want to give up, but their data has been lagging lately, at least for me. Its a shame esignal doesnt allow you to just purchase their charting software and feed a different data source through. Actually, better yet, maybe they could just fix the issue! :)

For me personally, the best case scenario would be to keep esignal charts and use a third party data feed that is more reliable. Unfortunately the rep from esignal told me emphatically "NO" on this happening.

Yeah, I got excited for a second when I realized that this idea would alleviate all my issues, only to find out its not possible. I guess I should have assumed it wouldnt work otherwise Im sure someone would have brought the idea up already.

I talked to a rep a few minutes ago asking if I could use a different data provider to plug into Esignal charts and she said its not possible. But you use their data, just not their charts right? Not sure I understand why they allow one but not the other.

For me 10 not only lagged but was slower and had more bugs. 8 seems more robust but the lag issues still remain.

Believe me, nothing would make me happier than to know that there are other charting packages that would satisfy my needs, my only concern is I will have to get used to a whole new package. Ive been with Esig long enough that I can do a bunch of things subconsciously and fast because I have so...

Fortunately I have some alternatives, but I will certainly miss a lot of the functionality. Esignal, for all its bad data lately, still has great charts and tools and its easy to use. But in the end, I rely on accurate data and if Im not getting that, then there really is no other choice than to go.

I did, thanks. I know, its crazy how bad things have been lately. Everyday at least once this has been an issue lately.

MY 10:30 ES bar is just wrong. It says it closed at 725 but my broker and other software says it closed at 600. This is just nuts.

Im with you ZBear, I really need the charts to be fluid like you mention. I tried out a few others and they werent as smooth and they werent as functionable as Esignal. This damn lagging issue is killing me because I really want to leave esignal but havent found a worthwhile replacement. And I...

Rolled back to 8 yesterday, still had the lag from 11-11:10 though

Yes still in NJ and just experienced very bad lag once again.
