    19" Lcd $130a/r

I still have my 19" ADI CRT. Very nice back when I originally bought. But when I went to the LCD, the screen brightness was what stood out. Just amazing. Combined that with the weight and energy savings, there is really no reason to still buy CRTs.

    19" Lcd $130a/r

Nice. I would have gone all widescreen but I had originally bought 2 of the 19s back in Feb before the prices were so good. Got the 3rd 19" for esthetic reasons. Microcenter is very good with rebates. They have a tracking website. Only caveat, they give only about 1-2 weeks for submission.

I've got 3 of these puppies. Rebate brings it down to about $190. Get the BM if you want the speakers. Acer 1914B/BM 19" LCD

    Day Trading set-ups after 11 e.s.t.?

Russell/S&P had a nice selloff after 3PM. Since the May 11th downturn, the 3PM end of day move has been pretty consistent.

dell 5150 with extra video card

Take it for what it is. A confirmation that the S60 works with a 9150 and x300se. Some people are gonna want to justify their overpriced card as being the gospel.

Which is the better processor for a notebook computer?

If the core duo performs as well as desktop version, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it for an instance. I have a Dell 9150 and the performance has been outstanding especially when running multiple IO intensive apps. Dell is pretty solid. They are so many deals on FatWallet. I would not buy...

Which is the better processor for a notebook computer?

Practically speaking, the core duo is better. 64bit gets you a bigger memory space but unless you think you'll need to be using greater than 4GB in the next 2 years, responsiveness from 2 processors is better for day to day activity.

    Best trading magazine?

SFO is okay but I've found ActiveTrader and Stocks/Commodities better for technical analysis. They have snippets of code in all the most popular TA tools. Futures Magazine is also pretty good.

dell 5150 with extra video card

I have a 9150 with a stock x300se. Added a PCI Radeon 7000. Everything worked perfectly AFTER I installed the latest Catalyst drivers from ATI site. PCI Radeon 7000 was $49.95 and it came with 2 outputs (DVI, VGA) in case I want to add another monitor. I got it from Microcenter. This...

    Position size for Futures?

Please read his post. He wants to hold till end of day doing intraday trading. There's enough gyration during the day session to require a significant stop size.

    Position size for Futures?

Typical positions sizing risks 2%. 20k @2% = $400. If you have a 2 pt stop for the ES, you can trade 4 contracts. ES tick is worth $12.50. With 4 contracts, you can be stopped out at 2pts = $400 loss. If you trade 2 contracts, you can extend the stop to 4 pts. Intraday trading, you...

Part of Traders Audio. Amazing how many of his calls are stopped out. The service is good for hearing what the floor traders are doing.

    Virtual Desktop

I saw goScreen on download.com. Will give it a try. It should be able to work well with QuoteTracker. Too bad QT doesn't handle sets of charts better.

    Virtual Desktop

Well, I found PowerToys has a virtual desktop tool. PowerToys Not sure if it's the best one available but it couldn't be too bad since it's from Microsoft.

    Virtual Desktop

I'm always running out of space. Up to 3 19" LCDs now but still could use more screen real estate. I've been researching virtual desktops for XP. Anyone got a favorite?

    HANS ready to skydive

HANS held up pretty well during the recent downturn. Looks like the market is heading back up. I would think HANS will retest/surpass its highs if the markets retraces up.

ugh, er2 is hitting new highs

Made some nice gains but decided to go flat at 11am EST. Volume looked like it dried up. Left 3 points on the table.
