I know this post has been out for a while but I never understood why someone would come into a trading forum only to say that no one in the forum can trade. It’s like going to a medical convention full of doctors telling them that none of them know medicine. What?!?!

I stay away from round numbers. I enter just prior to them to beat out the demand of the retail traders when trying to get in and sell just prior to them to beat the retail traders trying to get out.

I agree with VR. Simple approaches like yours can work well provided you stay consistent and monitor your metrics long term. Is your plan after next week to go straight to 5 lots if successful, or is there a ramp up period eventually getting you up to 5 lots?

I don’t believe that to be true. I use the same exact supply and demand strategies for forex technical analysis as I do for futures and equities with little difference in how the instruments move.

I completely agree. I honestly don’t care if price movement is because of fundamentals, self fulfilling prophecy, or simply because the sun rises in the east. If a strategy works for profit then use it.

Honestly consider psychology/discipline books like Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas. Never underestimate the power of attitude when trading.
