I would not use the word "play" but, yes a novice should. It's the only step towards no longer being a novice.
I think NQ is sloppier. they will move in similar fashion so the direction will be the same on either one.
Aphex, are you becoming depressed? with all that talk you have me worried. Lets put away those Nick Drake albums for the winter...
Good luck everyone this week!
It should be interesting.. overhead resistance to contend with, Fed, cisco..
Don't care what you do.
Who are you and what are you selling, by the way? If you have a pay chatroom I think that's pretty slimey but hey, if you can't make money trading then you got to find some way to make it, right?....
1) they trade from 9pm-5pm eastern. IB doesn't give access until 12:30am. I don't like this either.
2) no secrets
3) Europe trades it heavily starting around 2am eastern but that is still nothing compared to NYSE hours. Average trade is high because its where the big boys are.
us retail guys mean almost nothing at all to this market. It's ruled by the big money and the guys trading on the floor in Chicago. that doesn't mean we can't be successful however.
good idea.
but the thing that people here don't seem to realize is if you enter the trade at a key level you can have tighter stops because the market will only have to move a little bit against you to make your trade wrong. But if you enter in the middle of some channel of key price levels...
If you risk 1 point your entry must be perfect; and if your entry is perfect then you will get many more than 2 points profit.
maybe try to fade exact support and resistance numbers. current open, key highs/lows, etc.. VERY HARD.
