I don't use these to trade but I would just start with the common default values. You say you want the market to have clear direction then I would use MACD not the other two. But if it has clear direction, why use an indicator if you are clear about the movement? on indicators: remember...

quickest way is to learn Visual Basic, then get a broker that gives you API connection through an ActiveX control. That's the fast track.

Don't know. I just have it for intraday support and resistance. ------- Notice how the dow was rejected early in the day at the month high and 200 day EMA. Hopefully traders here made that trade.
