The difference is in frequency of delivery. Injections are for sustained release and hence dosage replacement needs to occur less frequently(usually twice a month) as opposed to Andorogel which is applied generally twice a day.

I don't know how many meds are compounded. No I don't have access to foreign drugs and I'm not comparing Androgel to Enanthate and no I don't find it hilarious. Androgel was suggested as an alternative in my particular case and it didn't have the desired effect.
