    The Stochastic Indicator

set up the charts like jack suggested and don't forget the scaling... don't use autoscale in esignal it gives you the wrong impression about the volatility in the current market. and one more suggestion is not to think of it as a mechanical system... use it as a clear method and execute the...

    The Stochastic Indicator

When the stoch lines are entwined if then the fast line moves out of the zone (0-20; 80-100) then I look more carefully on the price action. The last point of exit would be when the slow line also crosses over the zone line. If it moves up and down during the same 5min bar I look at price...

    The Stochastic Indicator

Yes, but do you trade on the close of the bar? That's then the question of how you define you trading method. In this thread we focus on Jack's method and in this method trading is being done as soon the setup ocures and not until the close of the bar.

    The Stochastic Indicator

If you do it this way you won't have objective results. This is because during a bar the high of the 5 min period could be much higher than the close and during this period an indicator could just move over the defined level and by the close of the bar it is back below the level. Then when you...

    The Stochastic Indicator

    Ignore List?

that was actually posted with a positive intention and not to offend anyone. At the point of the event, none knew what really happened there and with comments like yours many good posters lose their desire to post anything in these forums. Information Collecting Software

I have long been looking for a software that lets me easily collect data (text, pictures and websites) from all different kinds of sources. Instead of saving them in a document or print them. The tool I was looking for is a simple drag and drop database and I think that I have found something...

As I understand Jack are "wash Trades" reversals in the current range. Opposite "whipsaw" when you enter on top of the range and exit on the bottom of the range. Wash would be short on top of the range cover on bottom of the range. do correct me if I'm wrong Jack. alain

    1. Now with "entwining" the method becomes very subjective. doesn't it? How much entwining, in what rhythm, etc.. at what can a divergence be recoginized and being separated from entwining? 3. How are stops defined? Could you please go more into details regarding stops. 4. Could you also...

    The Stochastic Indicator

verification: On the beginners level: is it correct to enter the market when both lines appear on the overbought or oversold zone and to exit the market as soon the fast line moves out of the overbought or oversold zone? I quote Jack "Exit as both leave the 20 or 80 always first one out"...
