Lets say I use IB. I have a short ES futures contract and a short ES call and $300,000 in cash and about 10 long Leaps on two or three US stocks and a few thousand shares of some Australian stocks and I am short $100,000 NZD. Now IB goes broke. What do I need to worry about losing?

Lets say I but two ES contracts on different days and I want to see in the TWS window how one has performed. How do I do this? My portfolio window and account page seem to default to combining the two positions, which is nice. But I also need to see lots.

I'm looking for a widget or toolbar icon/device that would show RSI on SP 500, or any other broad-based oscillator. Such a thing exist?

How can I simultaneously buy (or sell) a futures contract, like ES, and sell a call (or put)? Is there a combo or spread function that will handled a covered future or futures buy-write?

Just look up whatever WSJ reporters have written about IB in the past; they usually have a link on their stories. And short them an e-mail. They are often very receptive, especially when they get multiple people e-mailing them.

Contact Shawn Langlois at MarketWatch. He may be working on a story about this.

What do you do? Have mirrored trades in the other account? Trade hedges against your positions?

Somebody also needs to send this thread to the WSJ reporter who covers brokerages and to Barron's Electronic trader. I am so tired of Barron's kissing IB's butt and never listening to all the complaints. The ad dollars can't mean that much to Barron's can it?
