    Want To Share

Hey $Cost - Somehow I had missed this thread over the past year. I remember when I first joined here I really enjoyed reading your posts, and then you disappeared for a while. Its nice to see you're still updating the thread... I may not post much but I'll be lurking :)

Ironic, since it seems like every post of yours is worthless criticism.

Although I don't think theres any glaringly obvious side to take right here, I also think there are a couple of short opportunities to be had. 1557-1559 has been an important zone if you look at a 15-30 min chart of the past week. In addition, at SPX open tomorrow, the downward trendline...

Peek Oil? Don't bother changing your engine oil:

This thread worries me... it makes me not want to buy a used car anymore if America thinks you don't need to change your oil haha. Seriously, its best to follow the manufacturers recommendations. Over the past decade, car companies have been pushing to get their vehicles to be as close to...

    Can Start Buying Natty Now

Thanks alot for the reply Sciarabino! So while, we won't be seeing a sharp price change in UNG while traders rollover into the new front month (w/ built-in premium) it WILL still see the price appreciation, just more spread out, right? I have longer-term targets of $10+ for NG so thats...

    Can Start Buying Natty Now

Oh aright, thanks Surdo. I'm new to trading the energies markets - I take it the actual NG contract reacts more predictably to S/R (previous swing hi's and lo's in particular) and the ETF just loosely goes along for the ride? For example, this isn't a breakout since the NG price hasn't...

    Can Start Buying Natty Now

Vroom Vroom? UNG breaking out above the past months highs of 41.43... I noticed the NG contract has not though  Is this short covering in the ETF that the arbitrage programs cant hande or something else??

    My longshot is

YOURE THE MAN STONEY!!! :p Where did you first find out about this SNMB? I've gotta borrow some of your pennystock screening skills :D BTW I'm doing some work on a pick now. I found it out from a very reliable source - a SPAM email I got about 2 weeks ago... lol

Good luck to ya, I think this one may be the washout to end all washouts based on the volume :p Unfortunately I wasted my two attempts to catch the top at lower levels so now I'll just watch.

Short at 1581.00 on this retest... stop at 1582.25 ... worth the R/R IMO :edit: bastards nipped my stop by the tick.... I was trying to avoid the classic short washout with that... oh well... shorted again 82.00 stop 82.50 ... last shot :edit: why stepping in front of trains is bad

    Futures Brokers

I'm not sure what a CCI indicator is, but I have no complaints with my setup - MB Trading is my broker that offers the major futures quotes for $10/month. Then I use MedVed QuoteTracker for charting which is free. There have been issues in the past of the server going down at times, but its...

    ES Journal Archive (2006 - 2008)

I'm pretty sure what he means is this - If you have 100k and you only risk 2% per trade setup, your stop-out point must not take more than $2k from you. So if you have a trade setup where an appropriate stop is only 2 points away, you can leverage up and trade 20 contracts. However, if...

I agree, I'd just love to get an entry ~1559... confluence of a few different supports within a point or so of there. It would also just playout nicely to see all the stops under todays low get blown out.

I tend to do it this way. The downside of this of course is that any noise outside of the main trend will stop you out. Sometimes it seems deliberately done to shake out these stops before taking it higher/lower. BTW looking for ~59.50 on ES for a long here :edit: nevermind, that zone...

From a short perspective, you've got MACD and RSI divergence on the smaller timeframe charts and the equal length move was completed at ~1573.50. If there was a short opportunity somewhere in these new highs it was this one IMO.

    Facebook worths $10+ billion?

I don't understand these hugely general statements people always make... what if they were to IPO it with a market cap of $50B right off the bat, would you still expect a 1000% gain? Its all relative to the IPO price.

    Facebook worths $10+ billion?

Aliens really do exist!? wow http://www.alien-ufo-pictures.com/absolute_proof_aliens_exist.html .... there was a ton of assuming in that article.

    Facebook worths $10+ billion?

lol, I'm glad you guys are focusing on my great math skills which were obviously the main crux of my already sarcastic post... Anyway, if you notice the timestamp, I believe I was 5 or 6 drinks deep waiting to go out. I passed Calc 1,2,3 and Differential Equations thank you very much :p
