I'm lost. Your r/r should be id say at least a 1:3. After you take some profits, move stops to b/e slightly above the cost of commission. You dont want to give back profits.

Decided to sell my last few calls + 1390.00 . I dont want to get caught in another earnings mess like I did with AMZN.

Got my short order in for 13.35, just a few cents todays low.

No I dont play earnings, but I'm holding call option on BA which announced earnings today, however I was holding the stock some days before. I got my trade set to b/e, but if we see a gap tomorrow I might be in bad shape. I'll watch the after hrs.

Sometimes there can be 15+ companies reporting earnings before, during, and after market hours, movement happens fast, direction unknown, and volatility can be crazy....why even bother? I used to enjoy the thrill in my early trading days, but the luster has worn off, and now I stare at my screen...

Your going to miss A LOT of good trade opportunities, but there are some guys in forex that only trade EUR/USD because its the biggest pair and has the most volume, and movement, but I dont see this very commonly in the stock market.
