    The $300 is one way. To buy/sell 100 contracts. It would be $600 for the round trade. To Buy AND Sell the 100 contracts. Or vice versa. Taxes can vary, depending on your situation. You could safely assume 25%.

    If youre wondering about commissions, you could roughly assume $300 oneway per 100 contracts. not sure about slippage and the like, as Ive never attempted that high of a number in futures.

    You should sign up for Strategy Runner @ globalfutures.com. You can get a paper trading account and have all the futures streaming real-time. As well as being able to view history, chart and use indicators.

    You do get whipsawed, but you can help stop some of the loss with a less mechanical approach to it. I mean, you look at it enough, and you can sense patterns. When a trade is looking bad, why wait another X points for your system to officially tell you to get out. You knew where it was...
