ok, thanks for info, i am glad the issue is acknowledged. so for the time being, the best way to see reliable intraday volume data, is basically to refresh the chart (ctrl+ok on cursor window)?

i don't understand why you guys don't install 2 operating systems on the same drive. why all the mechanical 'switching'. just install 2 operating systems, each on a different partition - it's equally effective.

redi plus archaic and dysfunctional platform. one of the worst i have seen. most professionals that used it moved away from it as well. be sure to avoid it. i found IB TWS to be the best, however you may like others, just make sure you stay away from redi.

doesn't exist. registry cleaners will cause more damage than good. make sure you disable system restore and don't run any unnecessary background applications when you work. especially disable the anti virus auto protect feature, which slows the computer down drastically.

configure the bios to hide the hard drive (enter the bios configuration upon computer boot by pressing Del key, and select None where your current hard drive is). ps you can install 2 operating systems on the same drive, on different partitions, if you want to have an OS just for testing...

before installation you should format the partition you are installing on. you can do this through windows' setup, which should be run directly from the cd-rom (you should config your bios to boot from the CD). i don't support the idea of making an image, since it will contain older versions...
