Finally got the rollover from this mornings first hour run- up. It moved too quickly and I missed the low-risk short so now I will look for a pullback.

Short NQ at 1155 as the first half hour run-up looks to have weakened and might be rolling back over. *edit* - stopped out at 1161, market acting really strong with ES leading the way.

Missed a nice buy opportunity from the 807 area in ES that I would have looked to cover around 815. I'm usually pretty busy at the open doing a few other things so I often miss the first trade of the day in futs.

Short 1157.50 NQ *edit* - scratch

Long ES 809.25 *edit* - cover at 811.75

Stopped out of NQ at 1154.75, really having a tough time with this action today. I had my order to cover up at 1162.50 and it missed by a tick.

Alright, here we go again. I see the NQ holding it's low of the day on that test and I'm long at 1156.75.

Seems like I should have held onto my NQ short, it never actually did hit my stop above 1161.50. It was a case again of good analysis to get into the trade, a good entry and a mismanaged exit. I need to stop talking myself out of my initial analysis once I get into the trade.

Yeah, the good apple news combined with the bad Microsoft news really seems to have NQ wound up tight in a knot and it's making it very hard to read this morning.

Let's hope that trend sell day starts right now! Short NQ 1157.25 *edit* - going to scratch it and wait for a better entry, NQ acting too strong around 1156.50

NQ has made some minor new highs and ES looks like it has a perfect Inverse H & S setup if the right shoulder holds around 818. If we can break above 825 then it could run a little bit.

Long 818.00 cover 820.00 for the moment LOD wants to hold, NQ can't push lower while ES makes minor new low *edit* - so far this has been my biggest issue: good analysis, good entry and a quick trigger once I get into the black.
