This is surreal. I even checked to see that I was annotating ES :D . Are you sure about the 14:40 [close off] being PV? I can see 14:45 have "peakish" volume, but there wasn't an acceleration over three bars (unless two equal bars are considered acceleration). Maybe it's a feed problem (for me)...

    Chart for today :) .

Do you trade the method taught in this journal? No offense, I'm just curious.

    Iterative Refinement

Chart for today. Now I'll go figure why some of Spyders laterals are different from mine :p . Thanks for posting.

Spyder, thanks for posting your chart. Why is the first bar for today (9:35 close off) red? EDIT: Sorry, I should've tried the search function first. It seems to be because of the morning gap down?

Todays chart. The day without any outside bars  .

    Iterative Refinement

Chart for today. Fun.... erh... 'fan' day. You all know that a 'thoroughly annotated chart' actually includes all those little cute labels, right? :)

Chart for today. Even did some of that 'A' thingy :D . Spyder, thanks for todays narrative. Wish we could have those every day, all the time :) .

Does bar 11:35 [close] qualify as PV even though pt1 doesn't come until 11:40 [close]? This, within the context of the current fractal focus, would be on the tape level. Thank you all for the discussion last night. Great reading for breakfast. :)

Todays chart. The day of the many lateral movements. If learning this method was easy, it could/would not work in a mostly efficient market. That's per definition. I find that thought quite comforting. Another thing is also for sure. There is no one but yourself that can change the way you...

In the snippet below I 'fanned' the blue chubby up tape to form the decelerated green up 'movement'. My rationale for doing so was that the blue up was rather steep and overall volume did not seem to drop off very fast. So I chose not to draw the dashed green 'movement'. Had the blue up not been...

    Iterative Refinement

Todays chart. No more attempts at differentiating between fractals, for me, for the time being. I've been down the path all the way to 'pushing buttons' twice before. Perhaps I'm slow at learning this method, but I really want to get it right this time. :)

    Iterative Refinement

Since I posted a chart today, one with several down traversals, I find myself compelled to reply. I'm still at the 'M', trying to learn the mechanics of annotating a chart thoroughly. I'm not doing any 'A' (at least not consciously). I try annotate what (I think) I see. If I see 'movement' -...

    Iterative Refinement

Todays chart. Yesterday proved to be an exercise in confusion that led to a big mess. Or perhaps it could have been printed and called a piece of modern art, incomprehensible to all including the artist. Today I've tried to visually differentiate between the different fractals and still...
