    ES Journal Archive (2009 - 2010)

Well, raising your stop loss as price goes your way to protect your capital is about managing risk, isn' it? :) I guess that's all you will share at this point and that's fine. We'll see how you will manage this trade. In any case, I hope there will be scaling out in the process. hehe

    ES Journal Archive (2009 - 2010)

As long as ES stays above the March Upmove Daily TL sitting at 1070 today, swing trade longs should be fine, imo. Do you plan to raise your stop loss quickly, maybe on a touch of the yearly highs/daily up bollinger band? A failure to break that zone would force you to scratch your long, or...

How long did it take u guys?

The answer is as complex as personal. As in any other profession or dicipline in life, we all have different learning curve. Of course there is still the possibilty that you will never make it. But let's be positive. If you start from scratch, with no mentor, you will probably spend years...

How long did it take u guys?

There are proftable traders using ET who do give away bits of their winning methods. There are also proftable traders using ET who don't give away anything. But as always but you have to dig through all the chi-chat garbage to find the gold nuggets. You'll find profitable traders in the ES...

Technically, the 60/65 zone has been critical since last year. If you're only playing the long side, I would first want to see strength with a clear weekly break and close above 65 to build a long position with a target at this year's high, imo. Good trading.

Because of his constant flamings, insults, and trash posts... EliteTrader is getting more and more painful to read everyday because of these self appointed Gurus giving trading lessons and flaming, insulting, talking trash, etc... Time to help the mods and clean the place. Thanks for the...

Prove me my math is wrong. Go ahead. You won't because you know it is correct. :) I actually encourage anyone to do a quick search like I did about Mandie's trades during that period. It only takes a few minutes. Regarding my trading, go search my posted calls and do the same. Then, and only...

This is the realtime ES Journal trade list of Mandelbrotset for the period of July & August 2009. The numbers speak for themselves.

I wanted to end the discussion in my last post with you Mandelbrotset but you keep lying and I think it is fair that I show in this post, with no insult and no trash, but with facts (that anyone can double check) that Mandie is a liar and a trading loser who ironically keeps giving everyone...

If... the day/week is not over, a rejection of that infamous TL is still possible. That would actually give a good r:r entry for a swing short, imo. Otherwise we may go back to 1100. Roll the dices, I'm ready for both. :) Good trading.

Yep. But that wouldn't have worked well last week. They have to let the market consolidate at some point.

I agree. I don't play TL breaks by the way but they give a good indication of the momentum. The short side still has potential as long the market doesn't get back and close above that TL, which is - suprise - at yesterday high, ie 64.

Mandie, mandie, mandie... Your mediocrity as a trader has been revealed to everyone (you did it youself with your live calls) and I know you're angry because I keep reminding it while you're trying to appear for a great trader that gives trading advice. But really, you should focus on your...

    Ever push the wrong button?

Here are a few fat finger stories... In the last one, Mizuho lost more than $225 million. ---------------------------------------------------------- Typically, a fat finger can be spotted by a `spike.' An abnormally large number of transactions hit the market and get executed at the...

    Ever push the wrong button?

I agre, with the exception of the last statement. In my experience, my trading mistakes (fat fingers, etc) are just another cost for me. Hopefully, it doesn't happen often.

Hey Mandie, how's your trading lately? I hope it's better than your last ES Journal calls performance of 3 ES points a month. Ouch, that one hurts. Touché... You want some more? And everyone is still wondering why you keep giving advices and lessons to everyone on this site. I eat 10...
