A stop itself isn't broadcast to the market participants, it's handled by the exchange until it's triggerd. At most it would trigger a limit order (if it's a stop limit) with a hidden *total* quantity but some kind of display quantity size is still needed. After the display quantity is consumed...

IMO you're much better off trading with currency futures than these things. FX moves all the time and those instruments are US ETF type instruments which mean you cannot do a damn thing during the Asian and London sessions for the most part.

Pretty sure it is about performance when the fees are tied to it. Cmon guys we've been over this already. If you're fucking around with realized and non realized losses to keep the fees accumulating you're thieving your clients.

Gotcha, I hear what you're saying but it's not about the returns that are the issue. It's about the asymmetric risk being taken on to get those returns and how the takeaway to others might be that that is a sound or safe strategy.

I think the problem here is that people have warned him over and over that the risk/reward is bad - and even more bad at VIX11. Right now I'd much rather be taking the Artemis approach and targeting a vol event that'll pay for all the continual losses rather than the other way around.

Kind of a misnomer to say "initial credit received" being that it's entirely tied up in margin on the position. It's potential credit received more like.

Isn't the only difference basically the presence of the sidebar or not? I do think the sidebar is visually annoying when trying to actually read a thread to be honest. It reduces focus.
