    100 shares / fee > exceeding 1$....

Yes. On average you will save money at IB on their tiered commission plan over "free" trading options. Their costs are explained in every last detail.

    Is trading easy?

It's like anything else: Experience eventually makes it "easy". It baffles me that people think trading is somehow different or magical. It's WORK. You have to be smart, objective and the type of person that is bored in a casino. You have to figure it out.

Does anyone actually understand why stock price moves?

Because there are fewer bids/offers on the order books at the exchanges priced near NBBO (either lit or dark).

    Request crypto update

You can find whatever you want. The technology and the math that make bitcoin and ethereum work are excellent. There's very little "hacking" taking place; none that I am aware of. The blockchains work exactly as designed. There are scams out there just as there are with anything but that...

Reverse Martingale - two winners in a row

If your goal is to make money then pay attention to the math. If your goal is to have fun and feel good then do whatever feels good. Trading takes work just like anything else. A first semester math course on statistics and probability covers most of what you need to know when it comes to...

Reverse Martingale - two winners in a row

Careful. You are using reason and logic. And what you calculate from what you just said is that the stated strategy will increase volatility without increasing return. Ouch.

Reverse Martingale - two winners in a row

Why would you do this?? You should have only two goals: 1) Optimize average return per trade as high as possible, 2) Optimize standard deviation of returns as low as possible. Your strategy does nothing for goal #1 but will work against you with goal #2.

Natural Gas Soars 700%, Becoming Driving Force in the New Cold War

This is true. The challenge is getting it to where it needs to be. That is not trivial and can not be changed quickly. As a result some people will be paying crazy high prices for natural gas this winter so that demand destruction is created in areas where it is in short supply.

    Index futures automation

Incorrect. Someone else is making that claim. I earn a full time income trading quantitatively but I'm certainly not here to convince you of that. You are free to disregard my advice if you feel the math is wrong.

    Index futures automation

Measuring the percentage of trades that are profitable is useless. It's very easy to get this number over 80%. Just set a very low stop-loss and take profits when you are a tiny fraction of a percent green on the trade. Presto. You don't need a trading strategy at all to do this. But doing...

Experience is my source. lol. I'm a quant trader.

    Index futures automation

Exactly. It's not clear the threshold is "a few million a year", but there is a line and if you cross it you will have your lunch eaten.

Looking for tick by tick data in ES or SPY. 5 years

This doesn't fit your $50 requirement, but polygon.io is the cheapest and highest quality solution I have found. Have been using them for nearly 2 years now.

    Index futures automation

Need three things: 1) Total trades 2) Average gain per trade 3) Standard deviation Then compute the population standard deviation. You can't fight the math. If you aren't doing this then you are just guessing.

    Index futures automation

Yes. But keep in mind that you are looking for opportunity at the margins. If you are trading deeply liquid securities and show a strong statistical advantage your trades will be copied and the opportunity will slip away. I'm sure you are using a broker and not connecting to an exchange...

And it always comes back. All of those slowly aging PCs will get replaced.

    Hot streaming news services Question?

I use Benzinga Pro through a broker. Merger news isn't always crazy instant fast. Things like that are just being passed through from another source and could be instant.

Bear market? “So what,” says World Chess Champion Garry Kasparov

BNB started as just a token on the Ethereum blockchain. It was never intended to be new technology. It's value stems entirely from their exchange. You totally miss the point and then top it off with a racist remark about Asians. Keep in mind that Asians on average have a higher IQ than us...

    Dynamic Programming Fibonacci, Shortest Paths

Those other courses gave you context. I've worked with smart people who did not have the degree. They consistently lacked context and lacked the ability to see things outside what they had taught themselves.

Bear market? “So what,” says World Chess Champion Garry Kasparov

99% of all crypto coins are crap. Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB are pretty much all there is in crypto, imo, but I do realize that people are wired to want to bet on long shots. Don't do that. In the United States we don't talk about BNB much, but outside the US Binance is absolutely the king...
